Inside the Origin Real Estate Credit Fund: Income, Structure & Opportunity

Tom Briney
June 18, 2026

Private real estate credit has historically been reserved for institutional investors, but that’s changed.

Join Origin Credit Advisers President and Chief Investment Officer Tom Briney for webinar on the Origin Real Estate Credit Fund, an SEC-registered interval fund offered by Origin Credit Advisers (an affiliate of Origin Investments), designed to maximize current income and preserve investor capital.

Below is a brief recap of what we covered:

  • An inside look at how Origin underwrites multifamily credit opportunities and why we believe the current environment is compelling
  • The key features of the interval fund format–no accreditation requirement, 1099 reporting, and quarterly repurchase offers1
  • Our dual-mandate strategy across Freddie Mac2 securities and direct loan origination3, and how we position in the capital stack to target attractive risk-adjusted returns
  • Real-world examples of our underwriting discipline and the equity-minded approach we bring to every credit decision

The webinar presentation concludes with live Q&A.

1) Although the Fund will implement a quarterly repurchase program, only a limited number of Shares will be eligible for repurchase by the Fund. Shares will not be redeemable at a Shareholder’s option nor will they be exchangeable for shares of any other fund. As a result, an investor may not be able to sell or otherwise liquidate his or her Shares.

2) Freddie Mac: A U.S. government–sponsored enterprise that buys mortgages, bundles them into securities, and guarantees payments to investors—especially active in multifamily lending.

3) Direct loan origination: Refers to the act of initiating the loan, involving due diligence, structuring and closing the deal.
